“La Chamba”, local champions of the psychadelic Peruvian cumbia sound known as “Chicha”, promise a packed dance floor!
“L@s Cafeter@s” coming off some huge summer performances, L.A.’s Alternative Son Jarocho favorites mix the traditional folk sounds with urban indie themes to create their own unique musical fabric.
“Chicano Son” kick off the night (led by Marco Amador), performing their own original songs born of the traditional Son Jarocho musical style, but reflecting todays modern urban Chicano experience!

Featuring MERKADO NEGRO who will have art booths set up at the event displaying art from many of the artists they work with!
They will have a mobile silkscreening booth, printing a design for the evening, on a shirt provided by them or BRING YOUR own gear for them to screen on at a discounted price!
MERKADO NEGRO will also have some installations set up in the spirit of El Grito!
