Arpaio is sheriff of Maricopa County in Phoenix, Arizona and is known for his mass racial profiling of the latino community, deputizing and arming racist posse members and abusing prisoners in his tent city. No official is above the law, and yet Sheriff Arpaio has engaged in racial profiling and civil rights abuses for years with impunity.
